Italy for Climate: Chiesi at the forefront for the future of Italy

Making the climate the pivot of the strategy for economic and employment recovery: this is the objective of Italy for Climate, the initiative promoted by the Fondazione per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile and a virtuous group of companies (Conou, Davines, e2i, ERG, illy, ING), including Chiesi Group, with the patronage of the Ministry of the Environment, ENEA, SNPA (Sistema Nazionale per la Protezione dell'Ambiente) and Ispra (Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research).

The Conference, scheduled for October 13^th and 16^th and which will be held virtually, aims at promoting a national debate in view of COP26, proposing a climate action plan to be integrated in the next Recovery Plan, which should include the achievement of national carbon neutrality by 2050.

The conference will be structured in two sessions:

• Institutional session - October 13, from 10 am to 12.30 pm (Italian language): the Italian Roadmap for Climate and the main results of the Italy Climate Report, the annual report of the initiative, will be presented.
• Session with companies - October 16, from 1.30 to 3.30 pm (English language): a discussion among different companies on climate action will be promoted, exploring how the private sector can contribute to the achievement of climate targets and can guide the transition. Chiesi Group will take part to the session, through the participation of Maria Paola Chiesi.
